Solidarity Actions with Jock  across the world

So far there have been several actions in solidarity with Jock Palfreeman.

Here’s a quick overview, we will be updating the list as soon as we find out more details about actions. Looks like the solidarity campaign is growing, Jocks case had been mentioned on many websited, in many anarchist and anti-fascist papers etc.

LONDON/UK

10 people protested outside Bulgarian Embassy with banner saying “Freedom for Jock”.  Few hundred leaflets were distributed to passer-bys and a protest letter was handed in the Embassy with official acknowledgement in the Embassy records. Action organised by Anarchist Solidarity and Brighton Anarchist Black Cross.

Bristol/UK

Letter writing night had been organised by local Anarchist Black Cross group with aim of supporting Jock and highlihting his case in local alternative community.

Warsaw/Poland

7 people organised small protest outside Bulgarian embassy in Warsaw, holding placards and delivering protest letter to an ambassador, who refused to accept it. After some arguements activists left and instead decided to post letter by recorded delivery and also faxed it to the embassy.

Apparently there were also actions in Vienna, Berlin and Stockholm, but so far we don’t have any more information about them.
